Vieux Presbytère de Deschambault
Flagship building of Quebec heritage, the Old Rectory (Vieux Presbytère, in french), built in 1816 overlooks the St. Lawrence river from the heights of cap Lauzon. The former priesthood home is the starting point to explore the institutional heart of Deschambault and cap Lauzon. The permanent exhibition « Vous êtes ici au Vieux Presbytère » tells the story of the site and of humans who have left their mark. The exhibition called « Un art d’habiter » presents, for its part, the wealth of the architectural heritage of Deschambault-Grondines and the means implemented to safeguard and enhance it.

During summer 2018, the Deschambault's heritage sites welcome contemporary artworks under the title « Sorti du bois ». This event includes exhibitions at Moulin de La Chevrotière and at Deschambault Old rectory as well as a program of varied cultural activities.

Entrance fee : 7 $ (9 $ package including the visit of Moulin de la Chevrotière)
A picnic area and outside parking are freely available
