Bistro L’Ancêtre
Le Bistro l'Ancêtre opened on Valentine's Day 2004.

Its owners René and Diane Gaboury, along with their son Maxime and daughter Jennifer, want to share with you the warm atmosphere that one of the oldest homes in Trois-Rivières offers its visitors.

Built around 1850, on the shore of the St-Lawrence River, it is one of the few to have survived the great fire of 1908, which destroyed a major part of the city center.

Le Bistro L’Ancêtre offers its guest the possibility of savouring an excellent cuisine.

The large outdoor terrace is quaint and relaxing, where vastness and nature reign: big outdoor space in the backyard, charming garden with many mature trees.

Just a five minute walk from downtown!

Inside, you will be pleasantly surprised by the warm and intimate atmosphere, the brick walls and the semi private rooms, allow you to share a meal with friends, with a group, a meal for two or a business lunch.

Personalized Service, savoury cuisine, charming decor.

It is with pride and joy that we welcome you to our home.
