Bistro L’Ancêtre
Le Bistro l'Ancêtre opened on Valentine's Day 2004.

Its owners René and Diane Gaboury, along with their son Maxime and daughter Jennifer, want to share with you the warm atmosphere that one of the oldest homes in Trois-Rivières offers its visitors.

Le Bistro L’Ancêtre offers its guest the possibility of savouring an excellent cuisine.

The large outdoor terrace is quaint and relaxing, where vastness and nature reign: big outdoor space in the backyard, charming garden with many mature trees.

Just a five minute walk from downtown!

Inside, you will be pleasantly surprised by the warm and intimate atmosphere, the brick walls and the semi private rooms, allow you to share a meal with friends, with a group, a meal for two or a business lunch.

During summer 2016, the Deschambault's heritage sites welcome contemporary artworks under the title « Dur comme d’la roche ». This event includes exhibitions at Moulin de La Chevrotière,  at Saint-Joseph Church and at Deschambault Old rectory as well as a varied program of cultural activities.

In the museum, Quebecers' popular culture is presented with a dynamic and refreshing twist. Exhibitions explore the province history as well as contemporary living.

Vieux Presbytère de Deschambault
Flagship building of Quebec heritage, the Old Rectory (Vieux Presbytère, in french), built in 1816 overlooks the St. Lawrence river from the heights of cap Lauzon.
