In this big french-inspired building erected in 1802, Culture et Patrimoine Deschambault-Grondines presents an exhibition called « Savoir – faire – durer : l'art des gens de métier ». The expertise of wood, iron and stone craftsmen, as well as of St. Lawrence pilots, are here honored. In the same spirit of recognition of traditional knowledge and its transmission, a collection of antique doors and some art objects are presented in the water mill's attic.
During summer 2018, the Deschambault's heritage sites welcome contemporary artworks under the title « Sorti du bois ». This event includes exhibitions at Moulin de La Chevrotière and at Deschambault Old rectory as well as a varied program of cultural activities.
